About us

Ten Acres Ranch's fascination with honey bees started on a whim in 2022.  We took a bee course with the York County Bee Association and discovered the wonderful complexities of the honey bees.  We often visit the Lake Wylie Bee Club and are lifetime members of the Chester Country Beekeepers Association.  Now a few years in we are looking to spread our homesteading interests with others.  This includes the bees themselves as well as bee products and other homemade crafts. Every year is an opportunity for discovery and fascination.

Ten Acres Ranch also plays host to several breeds of chickens.  The breeds give us different colored eggs every day.  We currently have approximately 30 hens that free range their own large fenced area.
