Colorants not achieved by a natural ingredient like charcoal for a rich black or grey, or cinnamon for its warm brown with a red-orange hue are generally achived by mica or a clay.  Mica is a naturally occurring mineral known for its shimmering, pearlescent quality, making it a popular choice for adding vibrant, eye-catching color to soaps.  The clay, generally titanium white, is naturally derived mineral that’s prized for its smooth texture and super white appearance.
